Shindengen Electric Manufacturing is expanding its lineup of MG031 series power modules for motor drive inverter circuits used in automotive and industrial equipment applications.
With the spread of electric mobility, semiconductor devices capable of handling high currents are in demand due to the use of high-voltage batteries. In addition, miniaturization and weight reduction of on-board devices is an important factor to reduce the weight of mobility.
To meet these needs, Shindengen Electric Manufacturing has expanded its lineup of MG031 series motor drive inverter circuits for automotive and industrial equipment applications.
The MG031 series is our power module series that has earned high praise for its compact and lightweight design.
The four newly added products feature our next-generation MOSFETs※1 with very low Ron and low noise characteristics. Compared to conventional products※2, on-resistance has been reduced by 22% and rated current has been increased by 35%. This makes them possible to use in equipment that require high currents.They also significantly reduce noise, contributing to improved safety.
■About the MG031 series
This series is a power module series for motor drive inverter circuits for automotive and industrial equipment applications. High integration has reduced the mounting area by approximately 60% compared to discrete devices. In addition, the internal connection structure using Cu clips improves joint strength and connection reliability, and reduces internal wiring resistance.
