ISO45001 Certification Acquisition - Moving towards safer and healthier work environments

The Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Asaka Office and Okabe Shindengen Co., Ltd. have acquired ISO45001 certification, an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems.
ISO45001 specifies requirements for the construction and operation of systems aimed at the creation of safe and healthy workplaces and prevention of worker injuries and illness.
The Shindengen Group continually works to strengthen occupational health and safety and to maintain work environments which take worker health and safety into consideration. This in turn makes it possible to improve productivity and ensure business continuity. Undertaking these initiatives also helps achieve the goals of SDG 3 "Good health and well-being" and SDG 8 "Decent work and economic growth".

Shindengen began operation of the Asaka Office in April 2021. The Asaka Office was designed to be an environment which stimulates intellectual productivity through a variety of elements including establishment and maintenance of ICT environments, introduction of free address office spaces, and establishment of individual concentration booths. In addition, the office also features living environments which are focused on employee comfort and health, in order to provide easy and comfortable work environments.
