Shindengen is now shipping the HS1201 48V, 1200W SSI DPS V2.0 compliant power supply designed for high end servers, data storage systems and communications equipment using distributed power architecture. The system measures 2.73" (W) x 5.02" (H) x 12.8"(D) (3U high) and meets CISPR Class B EMI Standards. The unit features hot swap capability, N+1 redundancy and parallel operation up to 16 units.

HS1201 offers 1200W at 220Vac and 700W at 110Vac and is designed around Intel's SSI (Server System Infrastructure) specification (DPS V 2.0). The SSI initiative was created to provide a set of power supply standards for the computer industry that allows manufacturers to focus on value-add areas of their business. Designers can now use an industry standard footprint for power and better spend valuable time designing the core area of their products.
