Shindengen America, Inc. names Peter Gajewski President |
Mt. Prospect, IL. Shindengen America, Inc., (SAI), a leading power conversion products company, announces the appointment of Peter Gajewski as President, effective April 1, 2000. He succeeds M. Hattori, who is retiring. Mr. Gajewski was previously Senior Vice President of Shindengen America.
As President, Mr. Gajewski will be responsible for the general management of Shindengen America, focusing on accelerating sales growth and profitability. Strategically, he will position the company to maximize opportunities for selling technically advanced products to high growth markets.
Mr. Gajewski joined Shindengen America in 1987, its founding year. Under his direction as senior sales and marketing executive, revenues have increased substantially. Shindengen America is a subsidiary of Japanese power conversion giant, Shindengen Electric Manufacturing, Inc.
Prior to joining Shindengen America, Mr. Gajewski held management and technical positions at California DC, Inc., Gould, Inc., N.W. Ayer, Inc. and Vapor Corporation. While at Gould, he managed the Power Supply Division's product development, engineering, sales and marketing functions in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Gajewski holds a bachelor's degree, electrical engineering (BSEE) from Northwestern University and a master's degree in business administration, marketing (MBA) from the University of Chicago.
