Certifications

As the North American distribution arm of Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Company, Japan, Shindengen America markets, warehouses, and distributes power supplies, semiconductors, and solenoids to customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Shindengen America employees strive to maintain the highest level of customer service possible. We have documented policies and procedures to maintain consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in all areas of operations. When errors are found, they are corrected in a timely manner at a managerial level. Related policies and procedures are reviewed to avoid future errors.

Receiving

All purchased items are inspected for damage in transit and are matched to SAI's purchase order. Additional inspection and/or testing is performed as required by internal procedures. Discrepancies are immediately brought to the vendor's attention for corrective action.

Warehousing

SAI's efficient warehouse is neatly arranged into sections by product line and model. Large bar-coded and human-readable labels are attached to allow for easy identification. The temperature-controlled warehouse is kept clean and protected from the elements. Stock is relieved on a FIFO basis.

Order Processing

In the order fulfillment process, order entry is verified to the customer's purchase order and acknowledgements are sent to the customer for review. We maintain shipping software that integrates with the order entry system to ensure correct shipping information. Bar-coded information from the boxed items is scanned and matched against the data from the order entry system to ensure that orders are filled accurately.

Audit Trails

From the receipt of a customer order to the shipment and customer payment for that order, all records necessary for an audit trail are maintained. When the documentation is stored electronically, backup copies are maintained and kept separate from the main database. When necessary, material certifications are maintained to meet customer requirements.

Equipment

Preventive maintenance programs are in place to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.

ISO 9000 Certification

As the manufacturer of power supplies, semiconductors, and solenoids, Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Company, Japan, is ISO 9000 certified in all facilities. Copies of these certifications are maintained at Shindengen America's offices in Camarillo, California, and can be inspected upon request.
